Our story
Our company is a Hungarian-owned enterprise founded in 1996. The main objective that guided its establishment is to distribute the products of Asian carbon black manufacturers to European users. Today, Carbon Black Kft. is one of the largest traders of carbon black and other rubber raw materials on the continent. Its positioning makes it a key link between Asian producers and the European market.
Due to the expansion of our business and changing market needs, Carbon Black s.r.o. was established in the Czech Republic in 2015, which is also fully owned by Hungarians. Our subsidiary helps supply the needs of Western companies.
We offer our rubber raw materials for use in the following production areas:

- Technical rubber products
- Tread

- Masterbatches
- Black plastic products
- Ink, paint and paste
We are constantly expanding our products to meet customer needs and expectations. At the moment our carbon black suppliers are mainly located in Asia (India and China), our recycled raw materials are mostly originated from Europe and Turkey.

Our administrative centre is located in Nyíregyháza. Our team consists of professional, multilingual people with many years of technical and commercial expertise. The role of our centre is to ensure smooth trade and customs clearance, organise and supervise transport.
Nyírmada site
The site has a siding. Industrial carbon black can be delivered to our plant in tank wagons or trucks, where it is packaged according to customer requirements using our state-of-the-art transfer equipment. We carry out the following activities:
- Transfer (from tank wagon to BB or truck, from BB to tanker) 7000 tonnes per month
- Repackaging
- Packaging/bagging (in PE or EVA bags from 1 to 25 kg)
- Storage (10.000 m² indoor and 10.000 m² outdoor storage)
- Chemical and rubber storage in temperature controlled warehouse
- Mixing (We can mix different raw materials in a proportion between 1% and 99%. E.g. several types of virgin carbon black and recycled carbon black)
Kojetín site
We set up the plant on 3 March 2015 to maintain close contact with our customers in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and Austria. Distance from the factories to Kojetin:
- Zlin 30km
- Otrokovice 23 km
- Puchov 79 km
- Praha 223 km
The black carbon black arrives by truck at the Kojetin plant, where the packaging work is carried out according to customer requirements. Our monthly throughput capacity is about 3000 MT. Carbonblack is stored in big-bags in warehouses (7500 m²) and open spaces (10.000 m²).
